Message: Cathy,
We little knew that night God was going to call your name,
In life you were loved dearly, In Death we do the same.
It broke many hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.
You left Beautiful, happy, fun loving memories,
Your love is still the guide, and though we cannot see you,
you are always by our side, The Family & Friend chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one the
chain will link again.
Thank you for all the awesome going home Dinners...
Love you and God Bless.

Message: This news has certainly come as a shock. My memories of Cathy are
from many years ago. My earliest memory was Cathy and I stood up on a big rock
outside the school doors, we were in Kindergarten, and we sang at the top of our
lungs "I Never Promised You A Rose Garden". She was part of the CCR club -
Clayton County Riders - we were very young girls on bicycles with a mission!
Cathy and her sister, Connie, get all the credit for teaching me every trick in
the book when it came to playing 500 and eucher. Nothing like playing cards on
the back of the bus to pass the time! Cathy was one of the most intelligent
people I've ever known. We had a lot of fun as kids. Cathy had the kind of
personality that impacted everyone she met.
My deepest sympathy to the Weger family.

Message: I was shocked to hear about Cath. It has been a long time since we
all lived on the farms in Strawberry Point, when Nancy Gredrick, Cath, and
myself would ride our bikes and meet and travel back to that hollow that I
can't remember the name of anymore. We went there for our secret club usually
have a picnic of crackers and cheese and a pop; whatever we could carry on our
bikes and we would stay there and talk until the cows came home, literally.
Then at one of my slumber parties we had adance contest, Mom got the movie
camera out and I think we have Cathy out there doing the "Funky Chicken."
Of course we can't forget those long bus rides to school. We would play cards
forever, but we always had to split up Cathy and Connie...otherwise Nancy and
I wouldn't stand a chance. Just a few memories from our early years. Your
family has our sympathy and our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Message: Dear Cal and family; I haven't seen Cathy for many years, but she'd
made her mark on my life. She had a spark about her. An imagination, and
humor second to none. Cathy had a way of twisting real life just enough to
make it interesting...for all of us that knew her. I haven't yet, or ever will
go to Redgate Park, play a game of backgammon, listen to the song 'Barracuda',
or hear the name, Roslyn Carter (you had to be there), without her being with me.
Cathy will bring that spark to heaven, and I know when I look to the night sky,
Cathy will be the brightest star out there watching over us. I love her, and
miss her, but I will never forget her. My heartfelt sympathies to you all. Cryss

Message: Dear Jim, Cal & family-
We're all gonna miss the best 'Lousy Service' any bar ever had...I'm glad to
have known Cathy better as the years progressed, and I came to understand her
unique sense of humor...Recently, someone brought in some 1-800-BETS-OFF cards,
and of course Cath had me put 'em right on the front of the Fruit Bonus (gambling)
games! That's her style, and ability to poke fun at herself as well, because she
played 'em more than anybody!
With Cath's quick wit, you have to get up to speed in a hurry or you're left behind.
Well, we're all left behind for now, and hurting.
When I listen to my Beatles albums, especially your favorite, 'Rubber Soul',
I'll remember you, Cath! Get John and George to serenade you,
'til the rest of the band (and we) arrive.

Message: angie and i wish to express our deepest sympathies to the weger family
during this difficult time. cath was a great friend and always made us feel very
special at her bar. during our last visit a couple weeks ago, when we called a
few minutes before our cab arrived, cath placed a ''reserved'' sign on the table
near the juke box and had a tall candle lit next to a carafe of white zinfandel.
it was special and sweet, and it also the norm with her down there. cath was
wonderful with our children at her children's christmas party two years ago.
basically she was just a very giving person. we'll miss her sports pools, her wit,
her birthday cards and the free verbal barb with every cocktail.
god bless. scott and angie
