Cindy
Weger, 49, of Strawberry Point died Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Mercy Hospital in
Dubuque of a sudden illness. Services will be Wednesday, July 16, 2008 10:30
a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Strawberry Point with Rev. Jason Cooper
officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2008
at the Roberson Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Sebald Cemetery.
Survivors include her son,
Mike Soper of Greeley, Co and Jerry Soper, Mike’s father also of Greeley, Co,
her father, Calvin Weger of Oelwein, IA, two brothers, Randy (Sandy) Weger, and
Robert (Joyce) Weger both of Cedar Rapids, IA; three sisters, Connie (Clete)
Dempsey of Hazleton, IA, Carol Weger of Cedar Rapids, Christi ( Dan) Rink of
Cedar Rapids; nieces and nephews, Heather (Jared) Morris, John (Jennifer) Weger
and children Tyler & Robert John; Nate, Zach, and Luke Weger; Adam and Madilyn
Rink.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Weger; brother,
William Weger, and a sister, Cathy Weger.
Cindy was born Feb.
24, 1959 in Oelwein, IA to Calvin and Donna Herzmann Weger. She had owned a
cleaning service; worked at Clete & Connie’s Pizza in Oelwein and also for RISE
in Elkader, IA
